We ate here today for my Birthday and it was lovely. The welcome we received was warm and friendly. I ordered the turkey and my husband the beef and the meat was lovely with a large helping of potatoes and vegetables. We ordered the Panna Cotta for desert and it was beautiful. The whole ambience of the pub was lovely and set in lovely gardens. We will most definitely be back.

Fantastic food. Friendly and attentive service. It was a quiet night, so atmosphere not quite up there...but it is a Monday night in January, what else would I expect...would definitely visit again. That's why I've given 5 stars. I had rabbit pie, it was lovely, slightly salty for me but seasoning is so individual,so how could I mark that down, the pudding/pie crust was exquisite. V had steak fries which was perfectly cooked.

Had a very good lunch here. Fish pie was excellent and the fish and chips. This was followed by sticky toffee pudding, excellent and so tasty. Service was very efficient served by friendly staff. The King William is very welcoming.

My wife and daughter and I stayed at the King William in Sedgeford, Norfolk in September, while we were walking the Peddars Way. We stayed only one afternoon and night, but thoroughly enjoyed it. First of all, the staff were exceptionally friendly and charming. Also, our rooms were well appointed and comfortable. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. The pub was great - I enjoyed not only local cask ales but also conversing with the cheery and welcoming local patrons. Finally, the inn is lovely, has a very pretty outdoor seating area and is a stone's throw from the trail. All in all, it was a highlight among the many places we stayed during our fortnight in England. Thanks to everyone at the King William who made that happen!

Had a fabulous overnight stay at the King William IV in Sedgeford. Friendly reception staff and fabulous room. Clean comfortable with some nice little touches. Evening meal of a Sunday roast was fabulous and breakfast the next day very enjoyable made better for the service of a lovely waitress Julie who gave us some great information about the local spots to visit. Overall a very positive experience and would definitely stay at this hotel again. Oh and very friendly local people in the hotel bar who were welcoming and helpful.

Fancied a night away from all the run up to the Christmas festivities. Have stayed with the Coaching Inn before in some of their other locations. The King William IV is smaller than some of the others in the group, it's more a pub with a good sized dining area and a small number of rooms (9, I believe). Sedgeford is a quiet village approx 4 miles to Hunstanton, which was handy as we wanted a good beach nearby for some walking. This location was ideal for us as was nice and quiet, which made for a good night's sleep. On arrival we were seen straight away by reception and shown up to our room. The room itself was called a Classic and was a good sized Double (2 single beds put together which made a good sized double). Bright and clean with all the usual requirements for a comfortable stay away. Our room was to the rear and overlooked the Garden Area which was pleasant. We had a 3 course meal in the dining room. Prices very reasonable and choice of meals I think was pretty good (pretty much along the lines of a pub menu but lots to choose from). Staff were excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks on offer. Breakfast too was excellent, again a good choice for a cooked breakfast. Plenty of cereals, juices and breads on the table on arrival. We opted for an Eggs Benedict and an Eggs Royal and both were excellent. Overall had a wonderful experience and stay at the King William and look forward to staying there again in the future

really good rooms. massive bed with lots of pillows. spotlessly clean. Had tea, coffee, bottles of water in room. we had dinner here for first night. the food was excellent, burger and chips and chicken supreme. All really hot and freshly cooked. had desserts too. good selection of wines and two Norfolk ales on. both kept in excellent condition. Big shout out to the young lady working behind the bar and serving. very professional. Highly recommend for a stay or just a pint. Was quite busy so booking in advance to guarantee a table for dinner.
